As I live in Belgium and have moved house since we have been hear I’m in a position to tell people what it’s like to change address and have your new Internet connection fitted, in England you would give a weeks notice and have your new connection fitted well within the week here it’s the complete opposite even though you may have given them in Belgium’s case 2 TV, Phone and internet providers 6-8 weeks notice the chance of having your new connection fitted within 3 weeks is extremely poor 6-8 weeks is not un-heard of, when we first moved hear our initial connection was 3 month’s and we gave them notice, customer service hear is best described as none existent

Not much different to UK then!! recently had a problem with BT broadband they promptly dissconnected me charged me for the privalage, then reconnected me 2 weeks later the fact that it was my business line seemed not to matter to them way out in India or were they work from. Told me I would the latest BT hub which would be far superior to my old one and would increas WI fi range, wrong!! everything is slower and Wifi is a joke. They will come and check it out for me for a huge sum of money. Not happy.

Thumbs up

Here is a bit like Britanistan if I have a problem I have to speak to a foreigner though there call centre is in Belgium and the person on the other end of the phone is also Belgian and may not speak English they also like trying to fob you off but a little persistence and when they realise your not going to be fobbed off they can be very helpful there ends the similarity generally speaking broadband connections are much faster then England even on the basic package, but we only have 2 providers so upset one and you are stuck with the other for a long time

Finaly, some good news! The Forum is up and running and can be found here,

http://uktc.panzerworks.co.uk/phpbb3/index.php

This address may well change when we get our own UKTC webspace set up but at least it's working for now. The website will come along in due course.

The UKTC website is up again (for all those who were asking after the Events Dates page) but again, similar to the Forum, at a different address. It can be found here,

http://uktc.panzerworks.co.uk/

until such time as we get the uktank.org domain name sorted out and transferred onto another server.

Right, the UKTC Forum is now on it's own dedicated webspace and can be found here,

http://www.uktank.org/phpbb3/

This is more or less it's final resting place.

The website domain name

http://www.uktank.org

is now working again and although the website is still on Howard's webspace this will move onto our dedicated webspace as and when.
