8th & 9th May Elvington
Here we go Wheels and Wings @ the Yorkshire Air Museum at Elvington nr York, our 4th year in attendance, we normally don't do the Friday as thats a setup day really no public, so Its really the Sat 8th & Sun 9th camping is available, no power on campsite but we do normally get power all day in the hanger which is locked up over night, loo's open all night there is usually a theme night in the club house, a good do.

Don't bother with the form on the web I'll fill them in for all and post them on mass, like last year. Obviously this open to only UKTC fully paid up members as insurance is compulsory and MVT code of conduct does apply.

I will say yes for now but will make my mind up nearer the time, and lets hope they don't drop a clanger like last year, not sure but is this year the 4th and not the 3rd Robert?

Chaps,
Im like Skippy, i'll make my mind up nearer the time.If i do decide to attend, it will be just me and Thomas, and no tank as it will be going up for sale later on in the year, so i will just bring my deck chairs and stay for a couple of hours depending how the day goe's.At least Thomas can see some of your tanks in action and a walk around Elvington to see some exhibits. Well I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I recieved this a few minutes ago.
Hello Robert, bit of bad news I'm afraid. After a meeting with the museum staff, and due to extra space required by the Battlegroup North group, we find we have not got sufficient space for you to display and operate safely. Obviously this comes top of our list when dealing with the public, exhibitors and yourselves, so we therefore find we have to withdraw the invitation for your group to attend this years event. Sorry, but as you are only too aware, space is at a premium and we just can't fit you in. Ivor So there you have it, but don't panic as the same weekend there is National Model Engineering and Modelling Exhibition at Harrogate, just the other side of York, I'll see what I can do

It's not looking that good at the moment for the Harrogate do at the minute as the organiser still hasn't responded to my email he requested
