Generally not bad castings, not as much filing needed as I first imagined so I placed some of these to check what I actually had.

I have fixed some of the white metal bits so it's now starting to look like a tank killer

Please forgive the pictures but in the enclosed space I have its hard to keep out of the light.

Nice job Robert , i hope you remembered to wash the white metal parts in warm soapy water before you fitted them as they will have release agent on them from the moulds.
The release agent helps paint NOT to stick

I see your looking to have a well weathered look from all the dust on the top of the Hetzer, at least it will give the paint something to bond to.

Yes i know , i am a piccy old git

It was Skippys comments , not mine, hehehehehe

These old fuddy duddy’s

Sunday before visiting my Mother I had another hour or so to kill, so I snuck off into the shed and build up the remote mg mount, and as soon as I got back, (later that evening) I raided the action figure box and found a armoured mg34, and round ammo carrier, so I popped into the shed and loose fitted it to the Hetzer.

I don't know where the lads were, I assume down the pub. The pictures or just off the modile phone.

Must admitt Robert, iam slightly impressed with your modeling skills at present, but how many more tanks can you fit in your sed (shed i think you meant) and the van.

Well gang, after a week of really nice dry and sunny weather, while imprisoned in work, and now the weekend and freedom, and heavens opened up, still I braved the down pour and spent some productive, and a little destructive time in the shed, don't panic the destruction was to my body not the Hezter.
This weekend I will be mainly drilling out hinges, oh and my left thumb and right palm (told you there was some destruction)

Peek a boo, oh and lads are back

Even George managed a happy face, honest, thats his happy face
When that was done, and checked the hatches are now in the no expense spared paint both (a old 1/16 T34 lid from Heir Clinker Bottom) for their red oxide.
Then I thought tomorrows objective, was to make start on the metal exhaust so I started

The reason for this exhaust is that the original resin one, may not stand up to a UK Tank Club meet, as sometimes they can be a little like a destruction derby.

Well another day in the shed, taking this metal exhaust to task, the first attempt I wasn't happy with.

Then I had a rethink and was much happier.

Before anyone says it, I know the cable hooks are incorrectly positioned, I popped them on like that just to make sure it sat flat to the back plate

Much happier, once the milliput has dried I will add the white metal detail parts. Other that that I used my no expense spare paint booth to red oxide the hatches etc...

Well I got some more time in the shed, the plan was to add the rest of the detail to the rear of the Hetzer, so here goes.

I added the step and the bolt heads, then the arial base (I've not decided which ariel type to fit just yet)

Then the front Nortek light, this is a nice resin casting no finished required.
